Alachua County Health Department Extends Hours

This press release put out at the request of the Alachua County Health Department.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Health Department announces extension of its hours beginning Monday September 21, 2009.  "We are excited and pleased to offer after-hour medical options to our citizens." stated Jean Munden, Administrator of the Alachua County Health Department.  "The services available to citizens will be for non-emergent care, such as ear infections, minor cuts and burns."

The new hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  These extended hours affect the main clinic site located at 224, SE 24th Street, Gainesville.  Walk-ins and appointments will be accepted.  For an appointment, please call 352-334-7910.
