10-21-15 Planning Commission Items

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at 6 p.m., in Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209), on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

Items for the Planning Commission

ZOM-07-15- A request for a non-residential Planned Development (PD) on approximately 43 acres (The Oak Hall School). The school presently operates under a special use permit on its property, which is located at 8009 S.W. 14th Avenue off of Tower Road. The request is part of an overall master plan that is being developed for the school to address development at the site for the next 20 years. The PD master plan and conditions address issues such as location of facilities, buffers from adjoining properties, as well as the location of access roads to the property. ZOX-05-15- A request to amend an existing special exception for vehicle sales and service in a BW (Business/Warehouse) district. The parcel is located at 4031 N.W. 97th Blvd on approximately 3.29 acres and is part of the Gainesville Harley-Davidson dealership. The request is to incorporate a structure adjacent to their present dealership in order to expand their sales and service operation at this site.
