12-17-14 Planning Commission and 12-18-14 Development Review Committee Items

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings are in room 209 of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street downtown Gainesville.

Item for the Planning Commission

ZOM-01-15 (Planned Development) - A request by Jay Brown, agent, to amend two existing Planned Developments (PD) [Jonesville Business Park and Steeplechase Shopping Center PD] by combining the PDs and revising the PD phasing schedule. The property is located at the intersection of NW 143rd Street and Newberry Road in Jonesville, and presently contains the Steeplechase Shopping Center as well as the Campus USA Credit Union Building. These parcels have Shopping Center/Commercial and Office/Business Park Land Use Designations. If approved, the combined properties (which will be known as Jonesville Business Park PD) will be developed as a single planned development.
