National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (Feb. 7th)

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - February 1st through February 5th, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Alachua County Health Department will be observing National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (February 7th).  The theme for this year is "HIV/AIDS Prevention-A Choice and a Lifestyle!"  In support of this important public health initiative, the Alachua County Health Department (224 SE 24th Street, Gainesville) will be providing free and confidential HIV counseling and testing. The free test utilizes the OraQuick Advance finger stick test and citizens will only have to wait 20 minutes for their HIV results.
