Alachua County Talks: Food Co-Op/Kitchen Incubator

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - A new edition of "Alachua County Talks" featuring an interview with Gretchen McIntyre, co-founder of the local food co-op store project in Alachua County and Maya Garner, co-founder of the kitchen incubator project in Alachua County, premieres tonight on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m.  The Citizen Food Co-op will provide shoppers the opportunity to buy locally produced food. The kitchen incubator will assist local early-stage catering, retail and wholesale food businesses. The interviews provide an in-depth look at both endeavors, including discussions of the benefits to local food growers and producers, small businesses and the community at large.

Alachua County Talks airs at 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. every day.  Special or regular County Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
