New Environmental Best Management Practices Pamphlets

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Environmental Protection Department (ACEPD) and the Gainesville Clean Water Partnership have updated their nine Best Management Practices (BMP) pamphlets. The pamphlets are designed to clearly demonstrate how to prevent pollution from our homes and businesses from polluting our local water resources. The new BMPs include information on:

  • Landscaping and Lawn Care 
  • Swimming Pool Maintenance
  • Outdoor Car Washes 
  • Painters and Home Improvement Projects 
  • Pressure Washing 
  • Apartment Complexes 
  • Erosion and Sediment Control at Construction Sites 
  • Food Service Industry 
  • Laundry Services
