Alachua County Talks: Poverty Reduction

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - A new edition of "Alachua County Talks" featuring an interview with Alachua County Poverty Reduction Director John Skelly, premieres tonight, Monday May 4, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. on Community 12 TV. 

The interview features an in depth look at poverty reduction efforts in Alachua County and services that are available for those in need.  The show also includes a discussion on the Ten Year Plan to end Homelessness, a joint Alachua County/City of Gainesville effort that was co-chaired by Alachua County Commissioner Rodney J. Long and Gainesville Mayor Pegeen Hanrahan. 

Alachua County Talks airs at 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. every day (all showings may be preempted by special or regular meetings).
