Memorial Day Waste Collection

3 p.m.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling and yard trash will not be affected by the Memorial Day holiday. The regular schedule for these services will occur on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2009. The five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers, the Leveda Brown Environmental Park's Transfer Station will also be open during regular hours on Monday. The Hazardous Waste Center at the environmental park will be closed.
