ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Department of Public Safety and 4-H are offering an ATV Safety Education day camp for youth ages 8-16 on November 10, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cooperative Extension Office at 2800 NE 39th Avenue in Gainesville.
There is no ATV riding in this workshop. Children will practice ATV safety techniques through games and interactive activities. The cost for the day camp is $5 and 4-H and FFA members are free. The registration deadline is Friday, November 7, 2008 at noon.
