ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - In anticipation of excessive rainfall that may occur as a result of Tropical Storm Fay, the Alachua County Public Works Department will open a sandbag location at the following site by 5:00 PM this afternoon (August 18, 2008): Wayside park in front of the Public Works compound in Hague at 441.
Click on the link below for a map of this location. Residents are reminded that sandbags are provided but must be filled manually by the residents. This sandbag site is for use by Alachua County residential customers only and are not for use by commercial customers. The Department thanks all of our residents in advance for their cooperation. Sandbag locations will be updated daily.
