Poe Springs Management RFPs Requested

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Notice is hereby given that the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners is calling for and requesting proposals for RFP# 09-188; The Annual Management of Poe Springs Park

To respond to this proposal you must attend the MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE at 9:00 AM, Monday, August 11, 2008 held at the Alachua County Transfer Station located at 5115 NE 63rd Avenue Gainesville, FL Phone: 352.374.5245

ALL BIDDERS MUST BE PRESENT AT MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE TO BID ON THIS PROJECT.

The RFP's will be opened at 2:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, August 27, 2008.  No bids will be accepted after this date and time.

Solicitations documents and details on the related charges (.05 per page and $5.00 handling plus shipping) for receiving documents may be obtained by contacting Demandstar.com at 800 711-1712.  Vendors registered with Demandstar.com, Inc. can download the package at no cost from their website - www.demandstar.com.

Alachua County has adopted a 15% participation goal and policies which encourage participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) in the provision of goods/services and construction.  Further Alachua County will monitor the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program with respect to those goals.  The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive all informalities.
