Rape Survivors Anthology

ALACHUA  COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center is creating a one time anthology to offer a creative outlet for rape survivors, male and female.  The purposes of the anthology is for survivors to:

  • Facilitate their recovery through the catharsis of creative expression
  • Reach out to other survivors to let them know that they are not alone in their experiences
  • Educate the community at large about the impact of rape.

Drawings and writings of any kind are encouraged, and can be submitted anonymously.  The contribution deadline is June 27, 2008.  Copies of the finished anthology will be distributed free of charge in Alachua County, and contributors may have up to 10 copies.
