Alachua County Activates Rumor Control

ALACHUA COUNTY - Alachua County has activated its Rumor Control in response to a bomb threat situation at Santa Fe Community College's Northwest campus at 3000 NW 83rd Street Gainesville, FL 32606. The number for Rumor Control is 352-264-6557. "Citizens should only call 9-1-1 for life threatening emergencies, says David Donnely, Emergency Management Chief."
 
SFCC police and the Alachua County Sheriff's Office have begun a search of all college buildings. More information will be provided as it is received.
