Alachua County has opened a shelter for those individuals with respiratory ailments in the areas affected by the smoke from the NE CR 1471 fire. The shelter is located at Trinity United Methodist Church at 4000 NW 53rd Avenue in Gainesville. The Shelter opened at 6:00 PM.
