ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct their Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. The Regular Meeting begins at 9 a.m. and the Public Hearing begins at 5 p.m. Both meetings are in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Room 209) on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

8. Introduction of Dr. Owen Roberts, new Superintendent of the Alachua County School Board

11. Quarterly Hiring Activity Report for 3rd quarter FY 2014

12. Moving Alachua County Forward Citizen Oversight Committee

17. Public Hearing for proposed plat vacation for Resurvey Kingsbury Park and Town of Metcalfe.

20. ZOM-03-14: A request to amend the Oakmont Planned Development to permit model homes and various changes.
