ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – Currently (June, 2014), Alachua County Animal Services is experiencing a high volume of animal intake and the facility is full.

Animal Services will not turn away any animals. However, any animal left at the facility at this time is in jeopardy of being immediately euthanized due to lack of space.  They are asking residents to consider other options, such as local rescue groups, friends and family, and social media before bringing pets to Animal Services.

Animal Services will notify the public as soon as the shelter’s animal population is at normal levels.

For more information, contact Alachua County Animal Services at 352-264-6870.
