ALACHUA COUNTY, FL- Alachua County and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce invite residents to attend the Business and Economic Growth Workshop on April 16, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Alachua County Senior Center (5701 NW 34th Street, Gainesville). This workshop is a Public-Private Partnership between the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The intent of the workshop is to discuss improving the outlook on business and economic growth in the County and to present the recently created Strategic Plan for Economic Development. The plan was created by the Alachua County Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC), and the BoCC is looking for feedback, recommendations, and ideas for implementation.
