April Agriculture & Natural Resources Program

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Agriculture & Natural Resources Program for April, 2014.  This program is being offered by Barton Wilder, Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office (2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville).

Natural Area Weed Control Workshop – April 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This is a beginner’s workshop for managing weeds in natural areas.  Topics include: invasive weed identification, sprayer calibration, herbicide selection for natural areas and pesticide safety.

Registration fee is $10.00 (includes light refreshments).
