ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services currently has a surplus of cats and kittens. In order to reduce the number of felines at Animal Services Headquarters, they are offering cats and kittens for adoption to good homes free of charge until October 31, 2013. Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53rd Ave, Gainesville) is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All cats are examined, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered prior to leaving Animal Services.
Dogs are also available for adoption at their regular fees (view the adoption fee schedule).
