Survivors Art Exhibit Reception

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center and the Child Advocacy Center invite the public to a Reception for the Artists in conjunction with the Sexual Assault Awareness Month Survivors Art Exhibit, on Thursday, April 18, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Community Support Services Lobby (218 SE 24th Street, Gainesville).

 

Several artists will speak at the reception. These artists are survivors of sexual violence who have participated in support groups, therapy, and counseling at the Rape Crisis Center or the Child Advocacy Center.  In addition, Senior Girl Scout Troop 733 will present an original performance art piece.
