Veterans Services on Alachua County Talks

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – A new edition of Alachua County Talks featuring an interview with Alachua County Veterans Services Director Major Stroupe premiers Friday March 8, 2013 on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. Stroupe will discuss County Veterans Services’ upcoming Alachua County Transition Veteran Information and Referral Day event. The event will be held on March 28 at the Alachua County Freedom Community Center at Kanapaha Park (7340 SW 41st Place on the corner of Tower Road and 41st Place) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event will provide veterans an opportunity to connect with community resources.

In speaking of the program Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “The Alachua County Commission is committed to honoring and assisting veterans. The Transition Veteran Information and Referral Day is a fine example of this. ”

The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day. Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
