ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Beginning October 1, 2012, the Alachua County Public Works Department will begin the removal of any signs that have been placed within the limits of the County Right-of-way. This will include political signs, real-estate signs or any form of advertising sign.
The signs will be brought to the Public Works compound in Hague (5620 NW 120th Lane, Gainesville) and will be stored for one week before being recycled. During that period, signs can be claimed and recovered.
