Archer Braid Trail Public Workshop

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County staff will hold a public workshop to review the 30% design plans of the proposed Archer Braid Trail on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at 6 p.m.  The workshop will be held in the Kanapaha Middle School cafeteria located at 5005 S.W. 75th Street, Gainesville, FL.

Beginning at 6 p.m., the workshop will include displays of the plans for public review.  At 6:30, staff will do a 30% plans presentation.  This will be followed by a public comment period. 

Staff will present a summary of public comments to the County Commission at a future meeting.  The plans and alternatives will then go back through the formal County Commission and Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization's (MTPO) processes in the coming months. 

For those unable to attend the workshop, the plans will be posted on the Growth Management Website and comments can be emailed to Transportation Planning Manager, Jeffrey Hays at jhays@alachuacounty.us
