Commissioner Chestnut Appointment

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - On December 29, 2008 Florida State Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink  appointed Alachua County Commissioner Cynthia Moore Chestnut to the Board of Directors of the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation. 

Their mission states:

The Florida Healthy Kids Corporation arranges health care coverage for Florida's uninsured children. We develop and implement solutions, making quality a priority at every step in the process. We strive to instill a sense of security among the families of those we serve.

 "It is my pleasure to appoint you to the Florida Healthy Kids Corporation.  Your leadership and expertise will be a valuable asset to the Board." CFO Sink said in the appointment letter. "Thank you for your willingness to serve, and I look forward to hearing about the Corporation's work on the critical issues affecting Florida's children."
