2nd Annual Home Grown Open House

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Cooperative Extension Office will be conducting the 2nd  Annual "Alachua Home Grown Open House" on Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 2  p.m., at the Cooperative Extension Office located at 2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville, FL.

Attendees will learn more about producing and growing local food.  Agricultural market sales in Alachua County are valued at $102 million.  Agricultural products in Alachua County range from beef cattle, vegetables, fruits, nurseries, goats, chickens, and much more.
