3-15-11 Special Meetings

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Commission is holding two special meetings on Tuesday March 15, 2011.  Both meetings are on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville. 

At 10 a.m., there will be a Special Budget meeting.  The meeting will take place in the Grace Knight Conference Room.  Agenda items include; an Environmental Scan of the latest budget issues, a 2011 County Commission Level of Service Matrix, and the County’s Stormwater Plan.  The meeting will recess for lunch and resume at 1:30 p.m. with a discussion of the County Transportation System and the funding of road maintenance.

At 5:30 p.m. there will Special Meeting to discuss the Multi-Modal Transportation Mitigation Program.  This meeting will take place in the Jack Durrance Auditorium.

Both meetings will be broadcast live on Cox Channel 12 or may be viewed live online at the County's Video on Demand site.  The meetings will be archived online to be watched at the viewer’s convenience and replayed on channel 12.
