ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services invites citizens to its upcoming events.
Animal Services is hosting a "No Time Like the Present" adoption event today, and Saturday (March 4, and March 5, 2011), at the Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53 Avenue, Gainesville).
All adoptions at this event are at Special Event prices. Dogs are $45.00 and Cats are $33.00.
Alachua County Animal Services Public Education Program Coordinator Hilary Hynes said, "It is time to Spring into action. Come in and bring home your new four legged best friend"
In addition, Paws on Parole 13th Academy will be at Earth Pets Natural Pet Market (500 NW 60 St., Gainesville) on Saturday March 5, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This Academy brings the program into its second year. The program has had 100% adoption rate for the dogs who have graduated.
