Mill Creek Preserve Input Needed

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Environmental Protection Department's Alachua County Forever Program is soliciting citizen input on the revision of the Management Plan for Mill Creek Preserve.

Alachua County owns 1230 ± acres at the intersection of CR241 and CR 236.  The property was acquired to protect, preserve, and enhance the unique natural and cultural resources found on the property, and to provide an enjoyable and educational passive recreational experience.  The County is seeking citizen input on the revised management plan.

Citizen input can be given by submitting written comments via mail to the Environmental Protection Department Land Conservation Program (201 SE 2nd Ave., Suite 201/Gainesville, FL 32601), or email to kmcpherson@alachuacounty.us by October 19, 2010.
