Three Special Board Meetings

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct three special meetings next week.  All three meetings are in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

On Monday August 30, 2010 at 3 p.m. there will be a joint meeting between the Alachua County Commission and the Gainesville City Commission.  Agenda items include:

1.    One Stop Homeless Center

2.    Oversight Board for Grace Market Place

3.    Koppers Update

On Tuesday August 31, 2010 there are two special budget meetings.  The first is at 10 a.m.  Agenda items include:

1.    FY11 and FY12 General Budget Discussion

a.    Tier 1 and Tier 2 Budget Decision Packages

b.    Alternative Funding for Meridian Healthcare and RSVP

c.    Discussion of Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County
