ALACHUA COUNTY - A recently published book highlights the County's first phase of our Aligning for Success Program dealing with performance management: "Get in the Game: The Power of Optimum Performance, Seven Steps to Better Results for Your Organization" by Dan Beeman Ph.D. and Jim Coy.

The book focuses two chapters (5 and 6) on describing the County's efforts to:

  1. Comprehensively identify our customers
  2. Structure functional groups used by Alachua County to improve communications and coordination between departments in delivery of services

County Manager Randall H. Reid commented, "It makes all of us at the County very proud that our hard work in these areas is receiving this national exposure."

For more information, please contact the County Manager's office at (352) 374-5204.  Note: Media is welcomed to use any images included in County press releases.
