Added Dates for Community Conversations 2011

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Two new dates have been added to Alachua County's "Community Conversations 2011." The public is invited to participate in these discussions. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and dates are filling up fast.

This series of events feature a brief presentation of the County's budget and issues facing the County, followed by an interactive table-top activity in which citizens step into the role of a commissioner in recommending service priorities.   During the session, opinions are electronically surveyed on a number of local issues and participants are given opportunities to suggest solutions to local budget issues.
