Meetings Reminder and Correction

The Gainesville Sun incorrectly reported that these meetings were taking place today.  See below for correct information.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - On Tuesday February 16, 2010, Alachua County will hold the two following special meetings:

  1. A Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) Special Meeting to discuss the University Florida College of Medicines' proposed Mobile Clinic.  The College of Medicine is interested in partnering with Alachua County' s CHOICES Healthcare Services to provide healthcare services through a Mobile (bus) Clinic.   The meeting is at 1:30 p.m. in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) in the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 2nd Street Downtown Gainesville.   
  2. A special meeting to discuss issues of interest to residents of the Tower Road area will take place at 6 p.m.  at the Tower Road Branch Library located at 3020 SW 75th   Street, Alachua County.  County Manager Randall H. Reid will present a summary of County initiatives in the area and respond to citizen questions.
