Volunteer Stations

  • Would the children your organization or agency serves benefit from having Foster Grandparent volunteers?

If you represent a public agency, a private non-profit organization, or a proprietary health-care agency or organization which serves children, and are licensed or otherwise certified, you may be able to become an FGP station.

Contact FGP today at (352) 264-6730.

Volunteers must not displace paid employees and should avoid staff or cleric assignments. They are assigned one or two special needs children to work with one-on.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) must be developed and signed for each station. Handbooks along with other forms and documents are provided during the application process.

Stations must be within Alachua County.
